I've spent my career showing up at the intersection of people and possibilities, in classrooms, community spaces, boardrooms, and now, a studio I built around the things I believe most deeply.
Mossy Burrow is about care. Care for how you make, how you learn, how you heal, and how you connect.
Everything here is organized around four things I believe people need more of:
Creativity. Learning. Healing. Connection.
Not as programs or categories, as a way of being. Whether you're booking a massage, joining a class, firing your ceramics, or bringing me into your workplace, that's the through-line.
What I Do
(and why it's all the same thing)
It might look like three different offerings.
But underneath it's one practice with the goal of helping people show up more fully.
As a massage therapist, I work with the body as a system, using evidence-informed techniques to support healing, reduce stress, and help you feel at home in yourself again. The approach is both science-backed and deeply personal.
As an art educator, I've spent years in community-based settings helping people pick up a brush, get their hands in clay, and discover what they're capable of making. Art isn't just for artists, it's for anyone who wants to tell their story.
As a communications and culture facilitator, I've worked in community relations, staff engagement, and organizational culture. I understand how teams communicate, where connection breaks down, and how to help people, and organizations, find their authentic voice.
Care Rooted In:
Transparency
Clear communication is foundational to effective care. I aim to be transparent and direct about process, pricing, boundaries, and expectations, so you always know what to expect and can make informed choices about your experience.
Care First,
Consent-Centered
Care should never be assumed or automatic. Choice, consent, and comfort are present at every step. You are always welcome to pause, adjust, or decline, without explanation and without judgment.
Science-Informed & Contiuous Learning
My work is grounded in current research, ongoing education, and evidence-based best practices. The field is always evolving, and so am I. Staying curious isn't optional, it's part of the commitment to care.
Accessibility & Sustainability
Care should be accessible, not just as an ideal, but in practice. That means thoughtful pricing, clear communication, and offerings designed to meet people across different needs, contexts, and capacities.
Cultural Humility
Each person's lived experience is unique and shaped by culture, identity, and context. Awareness of those differences is essential to safe and effective care. I seek to honor that healing practices exist within diverse cultural traditions and lineages, and I approach that with respect, openness, and a commitment to ongoing learning.
Intentional Care
Showing up with presence, purpose, and attention. It means slowing down to listen, to what you say, and what you don't. This kind of care honors the whole person and shapes every offering, session, and interaction at Mossy Burrow.
